Road closures to be aware of for Halloween parades this weekend

Bettendorf is holding its Halloween parade on Saturday, Oct. 28, and Davenport is hosting theirs on Sunday, Oct. 29.

DAVENPORT, Iowa — There are some road closures to be aware of ahead of this weekends Halloween parades in both Davenport and Bettendorf, Iowa.

The City of Davenport will be holding it's Halloween parade Sunday, October 29 starting at 2 p.m. 

Here's a map of road closures as well as available parking for the event.

Road closures for Davenport Halloween parade:

- Starting at 11:30 a.m. Sunday, 3rd Street will be closed from Western Ave. to River Dr.
- 2nd Street will be closed from Western Ave. to Iowa Street
- Starting at 2 p.m. Sunday, Harrison and Brady Streets will be closed from 4th Street to River Dr.

Bettendorf is holding it's Halloween parade Saturday, October 28 starting at 6:30 p.m.

Road closures for Bettendorf Halloween parade:

- Starting at 6:15 p.m. Saturday, Middle road from Spruce Hills Dr. to 18th Street will be closed.
- 18th Street from Middle Road to Spruce Hills Dr. will be closed.
- Spruce Hills Dr. from 18th Street to Middle Road will be closed.

There's also a Group O Día de los Muertos Parade starting at 2 p.m. Saturday, October 28, in front of the Vibrant Arena at The MARK and ending just off 19th Street and River Drive in Moline. There will be an After Life party on the Mercado on Fifth grounds immediately following the parade.
