It's the definition of small, but mighty. Augustana College was founded in 1860 and is known in 2017 for its liberal arts education, small class sizes, athletics and activities, as well as its commitment to the Quad Cities community.
On Thursday, October 5th, we are having "Breakfast With..." the President of Augustana College, Steven Bahls.
We're going to ask President Bahls about the exciting things happening at Augustana in the 2017-18 school year, the importance of higher education, how Augie was affected by Illinois' budget battle, and what the future holds for the Rock Island campus.
If you have any questions/comments for President Bahls, fill out the form below:
This "Breakfast With..." comes after sitting down with the Vice President of Western Illinois University's Quad Cities campus, visiting the newest residence hall at the University of Iowa, learning about the progress of a huge project for Scott Community College, talking about the Illinois school funding battle with East Moline Schools Superintendent Mr. Kristin Humphries, previewing Kewanee Hog Days, and spending a morning at the Bureau County Fairgrounds.
