SPRINGFIELD, Illinois — Illinois Governor J.B. Pritzker gave the annual State of the State address on Wednesday, January 29.
In his address, the governor said the state was “growing stronger each day.” He cited information about jobs and the unemployment rate, which hit an all-time low in December.
The governor talked about the move to legalize recreational marijuana, saying that the industry would create 63,000 new jobs across the state.
