Humility Homes & Services collecting hygiene items throughout the month of February

The drive is to assist families transitioning from homelessness in the Quad Cities.

DAVENPORT, Iowa — A Quad Cities non-profit organization is kicking off a new effort to help families move forward after being homeless.

Humility Homes & Services, a group that helps families transition from homelessness in the Quad Cities, is starting the first annual Hearts for Humility Hygiene Drive. Starting Thursday, Feb. 1, and running all month, the non-profit will collect new and unused personal care items such as deodorant, soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, and much more.
