STANDARD, Illinois - Illinois State Police say they are searching a residence in Standard, Illinois for evidence in the investigation of the disappearance of a Ladd, Illinois woman.

62-year-old Deborah Dewey was last seen on August 22nd, 2016 in Spring Valley, Illinois. A week later, on August 29th, her car was found at a truck stop on Illinois Route 47, just north of I-80. Her car was unlocked with her keys and purse inside.

Police now say they are searching a home and surrounding property located at 5th Street and Illinois Route 71 in Standard, Illinois for evidence of Dewey's disappearance.

The search for Dewey continues with the assistance of several agencies, some including the Illinois Conservation Police, Bureau County Sheriff's Office, LaSalle County Sheriff's Office, Putnam County Sheriff's Office, Ladd Police Department and Kane County Sheriff's bloodhound unit.

No other details are being given at this time.
