MUSCATINE, Iowa — A woman has been sentenced for her role in the November robbery of Hotel Muscatine on N. Highway 61 in Muscatine, Iowa.

Tiffany Michelle Williams, 39, was given a suspended prison sentence up to 10 years, and placed on supervised probation, according to Muscatine County Attorney Alan Ostergren.

Williams and co-defendent Timothy Wadden, also of Muscatine, were both caught on security cameras at the Hotel Muscatine on November 22, 2015, the night the hotel clerk was robbed at gunpoint.

In February, Wadden pleaded guilty to second-degree robbery, third-degree theft, and to being a felon in possession of a firearm. He also pleaded guilty to misdemeanor harassment, interference with official acts, and possession of a controlled substance.

“The plea agreement calls for sentences on all counts to be run consecutively for a total term of incarceration of not to exceed 26 years and one month,” Ostergren said. “Wadden will not be eligible for parole until he has served a mandatory minimum term of seven years.”

Williams was charged with first-degree robbery but agreed to testify against her co-defendant and  was sentenced on one count of conspiracy to commit a forcible felony.
