Davenport Police say shell casings were found at the Washington Street Mart at 14th and Washington after shots were fired on Sunday, September 6, 2015.
It happened around 12:40 a.m. Sunday. There were no reports of any injuries. If you have any information on the shooting, you're asked to call Davenport Police at (563)326-6125.
Thursday, September 3, 2015 shots were fired near the intersection of Kimberly and Welcome Way. On Wednesday, September 2, 2015 a man was killed after being shot near the Brady Mart. On Tuesday, September 1, 2015, another person was taken to the hospital after being shot near 10th and Division.
Eight months into the year, and Davenport has nearly passed last year's number of shots fired incidents. Last year, there were 118 shots fired incidents that resulted in three deaths. So far this year, there have already been 112 shots fired and four deaths.
