Davenport Police say a man died of injuries he suffered when he was shot in the 3100 block of Brady Street, near the Brady Mart.
It happened around 1:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 2, 2015. Police were called to a report of the sound of gunshots, and while they were investigating, they were told a male gunshot victim had shown up at Genesis East.
The victim died of his injuries, according to Davenport Police Captain Brent Biggs.
The victim was later identified as 19-year-old Lewis K. Woodson Jr. of Quincy, Illinois.
