A 30-year-old man from Muscatine, Iowa was arrested for second-degree murder after a stabbing over the Memorial Day weekend.
Cody Curtis was arrested in connection with the stabbing death of Timothy Lane which happened Saturday, May 24, 2014.
Muscatine Police were called to a home on Grandview Avenue that evening for a report of an injured man. Lane was taken to the hospital, where he later died.
An autopsy showed Lane died of a stab wound to the chest, and that he suffered four other stab wounds, according to Muscatine County Attorney Alan Ostergren.
Curtis was held without bond in the Muscatine County Jail. He was expected to be in court Wednesday morning, May 28, 2014.
