A body was found in the Mississippi River.
First responders were on the scene Friday, May 16, 2014 after a passerby near Sunset Marina in Rock Island spotted what they believed was a body in the water around 4 p.m.
A spokesperson with the Rock Island Fire Department said a body was recovered. The coroner was meeting with crews at the Rock Island Arsenal.
