Playing on Pro-Am Day was QC Honor Flight Director, Bob Morrison.
WQAD News 8’s spot on Pro-Am Day at the John Deere Classic was given to Morrison, who teed-off with Charley Hoffman at 1:10 p.m. on Wednesday, July 10, 2013.
Since 2008, Morrison has flown to Washington D.C. 28 times to give veterans the opportunity to visit memorials dedicated to their sacrifices.
Morrison said he was not feeling any anxiety about the day and was expecting to have a great time.
