Crow Creek Park’s main entrance will be closed for one week.

Most of the work will be done from the shoulder area, but drivers should be alert for lane closures, construction vehicles, and workers.

Another project beginning Monday is a $17.7 million project to make improvements on a 12-mile section of I-74/280 from Airport Road to I-80.

Construction crews will be restricting traffic to one lane in each direction.

McCarthy Improvement Company will be making pavement repairs, resurfacing the roadway, and milling off sections of the existing surface.

This project also includes the replacement of the bridges over Coal Creek east of the I-74/280 interchange east of the airport. The bridges will be replaced during the 2014 construction season.
