    For the past 39 years, there’s been one constant that has remand the same for the Sterling Newman football team, Head Coach Mike Papoccia. Papoccia, has decided to retire after an amazing coaching career, where he had a 340-99 record, and he led the Comets to five state championships and two state runner up finishes.

    Iowa lose to another ranked opponent, Michigan State. The Genesis Shootout is a Quad City tradition, and on December 15th, the Shootout will celebrate 25 years. Sherrard girls basketball team got a close win over Monmouth-Roseville, 48-47. The Iowa Hawkeyes gearing up for the Outback Bowl.

    United Township wins a close one at home against Dubuque Hempstead,  37-35. Bettendorf on the road, beats Linn-Marr, 67-64. The best of the best from the Quad Cities had a showdown in Iowa city. Hear from Ethan Happ, Joe Wieskamp and Nicholas Baer on their pride of the Quad Cities, and Each other. This weeks Midwest Technical Institute Score Standout.

    Drake and Iowa State play each other for the 1st time in 33 years, as the Cyclones win a close one. Both the Augustana men, and women open up conference play with win at home. St. Ambrose men are off to their best start since 2011. St. Ambrose women also gets win at home.
