MILAN, Ill. — Tom Pospisil from Eriksen Chevrolet presented a check of $500 to The Adopted Closet for April's Three Degree Guarantee.
The Adopted Closet is committed to helping adoptive families with outstanding legal fees. The mission started as a way for the Berrie family from DeWitt, Iowa to pay it forward after a generous gift allowed them to finalize the adoption of their daughter. Through the sales of vintage and gently used clothing, The Adopted Closet has raised enough money to cover at least 13 adoptions. For the Berries, supporting a family’s adoption journey means giving families security and permanency.
