Tom Pospisil from Eriksen Chevrolet was on-hand to present a check for $420 for the February Three Degree Guarantee to Special Olympics Illinois-Region F.
Located in Rock Island, Illinois, Special Olympics Illinois-Region F provides year-round sports training and athletic competition in a variety of Olympic-type sports for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. This helps participants develop physical fitness, demonstrate courage, experience joy, and participate in the sharing of gifts, skills and friendship with families, other Special Olympics athletes and the community. The Spring Games Track Meet will be held in May in Monmouth, Illinois and with 10 counties participating in the event. This year, there will be no fees for the 804 athletes because of contribution programs like Three Degree Guarantee.
