Royal Ball Run for Autism has been selected as the May recipient for Eriksen Chevrolet’s Three Degree Guarantee.
For each day of the month that the temperature is within three degrees of the forecasted high temperature, Royal Ball Run for Autism will receive $20 from Eriksen Chevrolet in Milan, Illinois. Each night, the WQAD Storm Track 8 team will predict the next day’s high temperature. The forecasted temperatures are compared to the actual temperatures recorded by the National Weather Service.
The Royal Ball Run for Autism aims to support the one in 44 children who are diagnosed with autism each year. The organization’s goal is to connect families to resources, increase awareness and support families and children touched by autism through celebrating their achievements. Proceeds from the Royal Ball Run for Autism support local programs dedicated to autism treatment and awareness. This year’s run will take place on Saturday, June 17 in Milan, Illinois.
