Power outages following Thursday storms in the Quad Cities area

Here's a look at power outages in the Quad Cities viewing area following severe weather on Thursday.

MOLINE, Ill. — Many homes in southeastern Iowa and western Illinois lack power following severe storms Thursday afternoon. 

There aren't many power outages within the Quad Cities metro as of this publishing.

On the Iowa side in Lee County, 14,321 Alliant Energy and two Access Energy Cooperative customers are without power as of 12:10 p.m. 

In Des Moines County, 40 Alliant customers are without power. In Washington County, 168 Alliant customers are without power. And in Jackson County, 71 Eastern Iowa Light and Power Co-op customers are without power.

On the Illinois side of the Mississippi River, there are 5,670 Hancock County Ameren customers without power as of this update. Nine Adams Electric Cooperative customers are without power in Hancock County as well.

There are 4,189 Ameren customers in McDonough County that are without power as of this update. One Adams Electric customer is without power as well. 

As of this update, 668 Ameren customers in Warren County are without power. In Henderson County, there are 126 Ameren customers without power.
