High winds and hail were part of area storms that left behind a path of damaged buildings, trees and vehicles as the workweek began Monday, June 22, 2015.
The Menominee-Dunleith fire station was destroyed by morning storms that pushed through Jo Daviess County, Illinois that morning. Torrential rain and some small hail was also reported in those storms.

The Linn County Emergency Management office reported one-inch hail southwest of Cedar Rapids. Another spotter reported 1.5-inch hail near Lindale Mall.
