MUSCATINE, Iowa — Muscatine's Department of Public Works will be installing a temporary stop sign at the intersection of Bidwell and Leroy streets starting Wednesday, May 15.
After many complaints about the intersection and several different accidents, the traffic safety committee made the decision based on a recent traffic county study completed in April.
Depending on the results, the traffic committee may recommend to the City Council that the stop sign become permanent.
