Multi-vehicle crash on I-80 near Exit 277 causes delays, detour Friday

As of 4:20 p.m., there is a 19-minute delay on westbound I-80 between exit 277 and US 6, according to the Iowa DOT.

CEDAR COUNTY, Iowa — Drivers on I-80 westbound are facing a nearly 20-minute delay after Exit 277: Country Road Y26 due to a multi-car accident.

A detour was created on Y26 and 290th St. to route traffic around the accident, according to the Iowa DOT.

Eastbound drivers will find the accident after US 6, seeing a shorter delay of 3 minutes.
