ROCK ISLAND, Ill. — Lane restrictions will take effect Monday, April 15 on Centennial Bridge, connecting Rock Island and Davenport.
According to officials with the Illinois Department of Transportation, the restrictions are due to bridge cleaning. During the day, traffic will be reduced to one lane traveling in each direction. However, there will be no closures from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. daily.
IDOT officials said the work is only expected to last for one week.
