ROCK ISLAND COUNTY, Ill. — Starting on Monday, Oct. 23, Illinois Department of Transportation crews will be out on the I-80 bridge performing bridge deck repairs.
Only the eastbound side of the bridge will be impacted, and any traffic headed into Iowa can expect delays due to only one lane being open.
Signage will be used between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. during construction and is expected to be completed by the afternoon of Oct. 25.
Drivers can view the status of construction through the Illinois DOT's traveler information map or on their X account.
