IOWA CITY, Iowa — The legend of Caitlin Clark continues to grow.
Her buzzer-beating 3-pointer from the Hawkeye logo on Wednesday night lifted No. 4. Iowa to a 76-73 win over Michigan State.
And even though the NBC Sports TV broadcast had a game clock slightly off from the in-arena buzzer, the star Iowa guard timed her shot perfectly.
The Hawkeyes are now 14-1 on the year and 3-0 in Big Ten Conference play. Clark has notched at least 35 points in four straight games and is nearing the all-time women's college basketball scoring record.
Social media users on X, formerly known as Twitter, took in the moment with awe and wonder.
