Davenport North's Divine Bourrage commits to LSU

Davenport North basketball star Divine Bourrage has decided to take her skills to the collegiate level with Kim Mulkey's LSU Tigers.

DAVENPORT, Iowa — Davenport North basketball star Divine Bourrage has decided to take her skills to the collegiate level with Kim Mulkey's LSU Tigers. 

The Iowa Gatorade Player of the Year chose LSU from an impressive offer list that included the likes of Illinois, Iowa State, Florida, Kentucky and Michigan. 

The 5-foot-11 guard averaged 19.8 points, 9.3 rebounds, 5.6 assists and three steals last season, leading the 22-3 Wildcats to a Mississippi Athletic Conference title and an Iowa Class 5A state tournament quarterfinals appearance.

According to 247Sports, Bourrage is the top player in the state of Iowa and the top shooting guard in the class of 2025. She is the third-ranked overall player nationally.
