SILVIS, Ill. — Patrick Cantlay has withdrawn from the 2024 John Deere Classic, the PGA Tour announced Monday. Cantlay later posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, that the withdrawal was due to an injury sustained during practice.
Cantlay will be replaced by two-time PGA Tour winner Russell Knox.
Cantlay joins Cam Davis and Taylor Montgomery as golfers who withdrew from the tournament Monday.
New players added to the field include Knox, Cody Gribble and Zecheng Dou.
