Patrick Cantlay will hit the links in the 2024 John Deere Classic

The 8-time PGA Tour winner has never competed in the JDC before.

SILVIS, Ill. — Another big name that golf fans around the world will recognize is joining the lineup for the upcoming John Deere Classic.

On Wednesday, May 29, JDC officials announced that Patrick Cantlay will hit the links for the 2024 JDC. An eight-time PGA Tour winner, Cantlay will be making his first appearance at the tournament.

A native of Long Beach, California, Cantlay turned pro in 2012. He was the FedEx Cup champion in 2021 and was named "PGA Tour Player of the Year" the same year.

Cantlay will join the likes of fellow pros such as Jason Day and defending champion Sepp Straka when the tournament kicks off in July.
