SILVIS, Ill. — We're 40 days away from the John Deere Classic, and a big name has committed to playing in the JDC Pro-Am.
Former Iowa Hawkeye basketball star Keegan Murray will tee off during this year's Pro-Am. The Sacramento King forward will partner with another familiar face: 2012 John Deere Classic Champion and Iowa-native Zach Johnson. The pair will play nine holes.
Murray recently finished his second season as a member of the Kings, logging 15 points, six rebounds and two assists. The forward was a consensus All-American for the Hawkeyes, scoring 24 points and nine rebounds per game in the 2021-22 season.
