SILVIS, Ill. — The John Deere Classic is still 70 days away, but the familiar names are already committing to TPC Deere Run this summer.
Jason Day officially committed to the JDC on Monday. The 13-time PGA Tour winner and former No. 1 ranked golfer in the world hasn't played at the JDC since 2011.
Day committed to play in 2022 and even traveled to the Quad Cities for the tournament, but had to withdraw before play began due to an injury. The Australian began his pro career as a sponsor's exemption at the 2006 JDC when he was just 17 years old.
Day has played the JDC five times. During his last visit in 2011, Day finished his final round in under two hours.
