SILVIS, Illinois — Davis Thompson has won the 2024 John Deere Classic at TPC Deere Run, breaking the tournament and course records along the way.
The Alabama native broke the John Deere Classic tournament record (-27) previously set by Michael Kim in 2018, finishing with a 72-hole score of 28 under par. He entered Sunday's final round with a two-shot lead and finished the tournament with a four-stroke lead.
The victory is Thompson's first PGA Tour victory. Davis is the 24th player to earn their first PGA Tour victory at the John Deere Classic. The John Deere Classic has had more first-time PGA winners than any other tournament.

- Round 1: 63 (-8)
- Round 2: 67 (-4)
- Round 3: 62 (-9)
- Round 4: 64 (-7)
Four strokes behind Thompson, Luke Clanton, C.T. Pan and Michael Thorbjornsen finished tied for second place.
