ROCK FALLS, Ill. — A Rock Falls K9 and his handler will be featured in a national calendar helping fund additional equipment and services for K9s across the country.
Rock Falls Police Officer Dustin Sugars and his K9, Fahgo, will appear in the 2025 Vested Interest in K9s nationwide fundraising calendar. The nonprofit provides bullet and stab-protective vests, along with other assistance, to law enforcement dogs across the United States. Fahgo previously received one of those vests.
The calendar features 12 law enforcement K9s who were vest recipients of Vested Interest in K9s. There is also a memorial page in the calendar that pays tribute to K9s who have passed. Proceeds from the calendar will go directly toward the nonprofit's mission of providing equipment and other services to law enforcement K9s.
