MINNEAPOLIS — A plane headed from Denver to Minneapolis Saturday made an emergency landing at MSP after the pilot noticed a crack in the outer windshield.
According to an official with Delta, the crew of Delta Flight 1736 "descended to a lower altitude out of an abundance of caution" to check a possible maintenance issue.
The flight was cleared to land safely at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport without further incident.
Despite the disturbance, Delta said the plane landed 13 minutes ahead of schedule.
No injuries were reported.
