INDIANAPOLIS — It's not your typical Halloween lawn display.
From creepy clowns to towering werewolves, more than 200 spooky animatronics are lighting up a south Indianapolis neighborhood.
The creator is a 13-year-old boy on a mission to give back to his community.
The free attraction, located in the 5600 block of Shelby Street, started when Elijah Goar was gifted a small dancing animatronic. Years later, the Shelby Home Haunt is a passion project that has taken over his entire property.
"You know, a lot of people can't afford going to the actual haunted houses locally and I think a lot of people enjoy being able to walk through something for free," Goar said.
"Shelby Home Haunt" is open Halloween night from 6-11 p.m.
