Scott County Republicans prepare for Iowa caucuses

Scott County Republicans are in full preparation mode for the Iowa caucuses on Jan. 15. 200 volunteers are currently training for the evening.

SCOTT COUNTY, Iowa — Scott County Republicans are in full preparation mode for the 2024 Iowa caucuses, which are now less than a month away and are set to take place on Jan. 15.

Hundreds of volunteers are training for the evening to ensure everything runs smoothly.

Voting locations are spread all across Scott County, with most taking place in local schools. You can review the list of precincts here. If you need to look up your voting precinct to find out which caucus event you should attend, you can do so on the Iowa Secretary of State's website.

Voters must arrive at their precinct before 7 p.m. to vote. Those who are not currently registered can do so on caucus night.

"The caucus is probably the largest grassroots volunteer event that goes on. And no pressure, but the world will be watching on Jan. 15," Jeanita McNulty, Scott County Republican Party chair, said.

The most Scott County Republicans to ever caucus was 6,000 in 2016. McNulty hopes to break that record in 2024.
