SCOTT COUNTY, IOWA, Iowa — Voters in Scott County re-elected Sheriff Tim Lane.
Lane took 56% of the vote over challenger Pete Bawden, who got 44%. This race was a rematch from 2016, when Lane won, again, with 56% of the vote.
Sheriff Lane was sworn in on January 3, 2017. He took over for Dennis Conard who retired after serving as the sheriff of Scott County for 15 years.
