What issues are early voters considering as they cast their ballot?

ABC News published its final Presidential Poll as the nation heads into Election Day. Kamala Harris leads Donald Trump by three points.

ROCK ISLAND, Ill. — "Something has got to change." That's what nearly 75% of early voters are saying in ABC News' most recent poll heading into Election Day.

The report was released Sunday morning and it names Vice President Kamala Harris as the more favorable candidate among likely voters. 48 percent of voters believe she has the personality and temperament to serve as the President. When the same question was asked about Former President Donald Trump, 60 percent said no.

"It kinda sucks. I wish there were more options. I wish there were fresh faces. But for me, I'm honestly just voting for who I think is a decent human being and who I think will represent our country the best," Meghan Carr shared.

Many feel the nation is as divided as ever, and they're hoping the next President will work towards reuniting the country.

"We need more love in this country than hatred," preached Robert Bauer. "I don't want to fall back into the dark age where everybody was fighting against everybody. We're supposed to be a strong country."

Personality aside, voters are tired of tightening the belt for their basic needs. 42 percent of likely voters believe they are now in a tougher spot financially than they were four years ago. That's one of the highest percentages recorded in ABC News' poll since 1986.

"My wife and I grocery shop together and I have watched the prices just steadily increase. Honestly, there's times I go grocery shopping and [it hurts having to spend] that extra money," Greg Durbin admitted.

Some voters believe Harris will likely keep things the same since she is a Democratic candidate and the second in command to President Joe Biden.

This is causing voters to seriously weigh their options and consider the future they're leaving for the next generation.

"What's going to be there for them? What are we leaving for them? What are we doing to protect them?" asked Durbin.
