Zach Johnson hung in close to the top of the field during the last round of the John Deere Classic, and at times was sharing the leading spot.
The 2012 JDC champion started the final round three shots back. On the front nine he made par on six holes and birdied three. Johnson birdied four holes on the back nine and made par on the rest.
Johnson, a Cedar Rapids-native ended the tournament as the runner up for the third time in the JDC. This was the second year in a row that he just missed out on a win.
