Galesburg, Illinois is a great place. But the reason why it's great is the people who live here and make it that way. And that includes the faculty, staff, and students at Galesburg High School.
This morning on Good Morning Quad Cities, more than 300 students came to celebrate their school pride for "The Score Pre-Game Pep Rally." More than a dozen students created signs that predicted a big win over United Township High School.
Tonight is Homecoming at Galesburg High so their energy level was off the charts!
The pep rally ended with a huge back flip by a student named B.J. and featured talent from the cheerleaders, dancers, and band. To see the talent from the Silver Streaks football team, be sure to watch the highlights on "The Score," on WQAD News 8 at 10.
Next week's pep rally will be Friday morning at Princeton High School in Princeton, Illinois.
