Republican Presidential candidate, Mike Huckabee, stopped in the Quad Cities to speak to voters on Wednesday.
At a crowded Machine Shed Restaurant in Davenport Wednesday morning, Huckabee explained to voters why he would make the next best president.
The former Arkansas Governor insisted that polls can be misleading, citing his surprise 2008 caucus win in Iowa.
Huckabee criticized President Barack Obama on calling for a smaller military. He said if elected, he'll work to increase the size of the U.S. military.
However, Huckabee did agree with President on his State of the Union address from the night before. He said curing cancer and other leading disease in America is a priority of his.
According to RealClearPolitics.com, Huckabee is currently 8th in the polls, 33 points behind republican front-runner, Donald Trump.
"No one has voted yet, all we have are polls, a lot of the polls don't even include me in the polling question. It's a little harder to do better in the polls when that happens. So I think Iowa voters in the next two weeks will start wondering who actually has the experience for the White House," Huckabee said.
