VOTE HERE | Modern Woodmen Park in the running to be best minor-league ballpark

USA Today is looking for its next #1 minor league ballpark and Modern Woodmen Park is in the running. You can vote once per day until voting ends in March.

DAVENPORT, Iowa — As we wait for baseball to return to the Quad Cities in April, you can help share your love for Modern Woodmen Park in Davenport by voting it the USA Today "Best Minor League Ballpark." 

20 ballparks nationwide were handpicked to be nominated, and now they are looking for someone to take the top spot. "Experts took several things into consideration, from atmosphere and amenities to architecture and homages to major league fields or legendary players, and each ballpark is worth visiting in its own right," according to USA Today.

As of Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2024, Modern Woodmen Park was in second place out of 20 ballparks.

  • Leidos Field at Ripken Stadium - Aberdeen, Maryland
  • Chickasaw Bricktown Ballpark - Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
  • McCormick Field - Asheville, North Carolina
  • Las Vegas Ballpark - Las Vegas, Nevada
  • Riders Field - Frisco, Texas
  • Smith's Ballpark - Salt Lake City, Utah
  • Montgomery Riverwalk Stadium - Montgomery Alabama
  • Rogers Field at Nat Bailey Stadium - Vancouver, British Columbia

The Quad Cities River Bandits have unveiled their 2024 schedule which includes 66 home games. The first home series will take place April 5-7 against the South Bend Cubs. Find the full schedule here.
