A singer/songwriter couple, Benji and Jenna Cowart, made a hilarious response video to a popular song about a man asking his love’s father for her hand in marriage.
The song, called “Rude” by reggae fusion band Magic!, caught fire on the charts several months after its release. In July 2014 “Rude” was in the top ten, according to American Top 40.
The song lyrics are about a man asking the love of his life’s father for permission to marry his daughter. The father says no, to which the man replies, “Why you gotta be so rude?”
