Man dies from injuries after Sunday morning shooting in Davenport

The victim has been identified as 32-year-old Leonard P. Miller. He died on Jan. 31 from his injuries.

DAVENPORT, Iowa — A man has died from his injuries after a Sunday night shooting in Davenport, officials say. 

On Sunday, Jan. 28, around 4:15 a.m., Davenport police said that they responded to the 100 block of E. 12th Street, just north of Palmer College, after reports of shots being fired. They found a man with life-threatening gunshot wounds who was transported to a local hospital to be treated.

Police have identified the man as 32-year-old Leonard P. Miller. Miller died from his injuries on Jan. 31.

Police say the incident does not appear to be a random act of violence.
