ROCK ISLAND, Ill. — Two Quad Cities-based businesses are teaming up for an upcoming farmers-market-style event — but with a twist.
Rock Island's Wake Brewing and Ground Pounder Hot Sauces are hosting The Dark Market on Saturday, June 1 from 1 to 4 p.m. The setup is similar to markets popping up around the area as we get closer to summer. Various vendors will set up on Wake's patio ready to sell their goods and Justin's Tacos food truck will be serving up food as well.
Wake's Dark Market sets itself apart as it will feature products that you might not find at other markets. Organizers say the event's goal is to "celebrate the awesome art being produced in all corners of the QCA."
