GENESEO, Ill. — Looking for something to do with dad for Father's Day? Music fans can head over to the 56th Annual Geneseo Music Festival taking place from June 14-16.
The annual event is open to all ages and will feature music performances, food vendors and family-friendly activities.
According to the Geneseo Chamber of Commerce, one of the events highlights includes the Father's Day Music Festival Parade in downtown on Sunday, June 16. It starts at 1 p.m.
"The parade is the perfect opportunity to celebrate with fathers, grandfathers, and uncles with a classic Midwestern summertime festival backdrop," a press release about the event says.
Here's the lineup of events:
Friday, June 14
- 5 p.m.: 2023 Geneseo Music Fest begins and food trucks open
- 5 p.m. to 8:00 pm: Geneseo Rotary Ice Cream Social at Geneseo City Park
- 5 p.m.: Kiwanis Annual Doo Dah Parade in downtown Geneseo
- 5:30 p.m.: 2024 Little Miss Geneseo Music Festival Pageant at City Park Bandshell
- 7 p.m.: 2024 Geneseo Music Fest Queen Pageant presented by Geneseo Rotary at City Park Bandshell
- 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 pm: Dueling Pianos fundraiser for GPD IMPACT Program at Central Bank Pavilion (live music)
Saturday, June 15 for City Park Bandshell

- 7 to 10 a.m.: Maple City 4 Run presented by Geneseo Rotary Club
