Get into the spooky season spirit at Circa '21, plus the 48th season just announced

The creepy and kooky Addams Family is taking over the dinner theatre stage for the first time through Nov. 2.

You know them as creepy, kooky, mysterious, spooky and maybe even all together ooky. Circa '21 Dinner Playhouse is bringing The Addams Family to life on stage this fall. The musical runs from now through Nov. 2.

The Tony Award-nominated story is inspired by the TV comedy and Charles Addams' iconic cartoon strip. It tells the story of the mysterious Addams Family and their dark daughter, Wednesday, who has fallen in love with a sweet boy from a normal Ohio family.

Brett Hitchcock dropped by The Current on News 8 to discuss the performance and what audiences can enjoy while watching the Halloween classic. Plus, the theatre's 48th season begins on Nov. 8 with Miracle on 34th St. Hitchcock previews what the rest of the season will hold. You can watch his full interview above.

The rest of the 48th season includes Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery, Heartbreak Hotel, Chicago, Mary Poppins and Come From Away.

Reservations are available through the Circa '21 ticket office. For reservations, contact the theater at 1828 Third Ave., Rock Island or by calling 309-786-7733 ext. 2.

There are performances of The Addams Family on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday evenings at 7:30 p.m. There are also shows on Sundays at 5:30 p.m. and Wednesday matinees at 1:15 p.m. Ticket prices range from $56-$63, depending on the performance.
