CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — A new woman's semi-pro tackle football team has found a home in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
The Cedar Raptors of the Women's Football Alliance will play home games at Coe College's Clark Field.
The Cedar Raptors' first game of their inaugural season takes place on Saturday, Apr. 27, when the Raptors travel to Minneapolis to take on the Minnesota Minx. Woman's semi-pro football returns to Eastern Iowa on May 11, when the Raptors host their first game ever against the Iowa Phoenix.
