MOLINE, Ill. — The Quad Cities' first-ever cannabis festival, Tree-0-Nine, is coming to the Rust Belt on Friday and Saturday, June 28-29.
Festival organizers want to use the event to celebrate cannabis legalization, educate about marijuana and advocate for cannabis culture. Attendees can catch live music, art, food and vendors. There will be indoor and outdoor stages for 17 performers, including rapper Waka Flocka Flame.
"This has never been done in the Quad Cities and I’m trying to help create a place I would want to be in, to work at, to visit, or be a part of. I want to do things that are new and exciting. I want to push the limits of what’s possible,” Heather Shadden, owner of Yabba Dabbas and creator of the festival, said
