MILAN, Ill. — Swanny's Bar in Colona has secured its spot in The Dive Bar Road Trip's March Dive-ness tournament.

128 bars from across the country took part in the tournament, hosted by divebarroadtrip.com.

After whittling out the competition, three Quad City establishments made it to the Elite Eight:

Swanny's in Colona
Jim's Knoxville Tap in Milan
The Edge Eatery & Drinkatorium in Rapids City

But only Swanny's was able to earn a berth in the championship round, where it's facing off against Leadmine Tavern of Benton, Wisconsin.
