The fifth playoff hole was a rough one for Zach Johnson, Jordan Spieth and David Hearn. All three fought trees as obstacles on their second shot.
Johnson hit his into the water, resulting in a penalty shot. Hearn hit a bogey.
When Spieth made par at hole 18, he won.

After two playoff holes, Zach Johnson, Jordan Spieth, and David Hearn are moving on to a third playoff hole. The third playoff will be played at hole 16. The first two were at the 18th hole, where all three players shot par both times.

Daniel Summerhays shot a bogey on the 18th hole, finishing Round four at 18-under par.
David Hearn finished the 18th hole with a par, remaining in tie for first with Jordan Spieth and Zach Johnson.
Johnson, Spieth and Hearn are leading the field at 19-under.
The tournament will now go into overtime, and the three leaders will participate in a playoff on hole 18 to determine the winner.

After driving into the bunker on hole 18, Zach Johnson bogeyed, dropping to 19-under for the conclusion of his fourth round at the 2013 John Deere Classic. This shot made a four-way-tie for first place.
Daniel Summerhays went for an eagle on hole 17, but settled for a birdie bringing him up to a tie for first with Jordan Spieth, Zach Johnson, and David Hearn.

Finishing Round four, Martin Flores is at 18-under par, and in second place. He eagled the second hole of the round, and then birdied six times after, ending at eight-under par for the day. Round four was Flores' best round of the weekend.
Through nine holes, David Hearn is at par for Round four, in third at 17-under.
Steve Stricker, Daniel Summerhays, and Jerry Kelly stand in fourth place at 16-under par.

Steve Stricker, through 14 holes, is five-under par for the final round and is at 16-under for the tournament.

The final round of the John Deere Classic started with a 7:30 tee-time on Sunday, July 14, 2013. Round three concluded with Daniel Summerhays in the lead at 19-under par, followed by David Hearn at 17-under and defending champion, Zach Johnson at 16-under par.
Summerhays and Hearn tee-off at 12:45. Johnson will tee-off with J.J. Henry at 12:36.
The morning tee-times, Nick Watney and Bryce Molder have moved up the ranks. Molder through 6 holes is four-under par for the round. Watney, through four holes is also four-under par for the day. Both players are at 11-under for the tournament.
Watney made an eagle on hole two, as well as two birdies. Molder has made four birdies.
