St. Patrick's Day events in the Quad Cities

The Quad Cities area will be celebrating St. Patrick's Day this weekend. Here's a look at some events taking place to celebrate the holiday!

MOLINE, Ill. — You don't have to be Irish to be lucky during St. Patrick's Day in the Quad Cities!

Plenty of organizations and businesses have special events and deals lined up to coat the area in green and celebrate Irish cheer.

Here's a list of events happening this weekend to celebrate St. Patrick's Day!

Grand Parade XXXVIII through St. Patrick Society Quad Cities

The Grand Parade XXXVII, the nation's only bi-state St. Patrick's Day Grand Parade, will take place Saturday, March 16.

The parade will start promptly at 11:30 a.m. at the corner of 4th Avenue and 23rd Street in Rock Island, Illinois and then travel through downtown Rock Island, across the Mississippi River via the Centennial Bridge to W. Third Street and proceed east through downtown Davenport, Iowa along a route to the RiverCenter at E. Third and Perry Streets. 

The Post-Parade Bash will take place at the RiverCenter from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m.

5th Annual St. Patrick's Day Bash at the Ridge

The 5th Annual St. Patrick's Day Bash is returning to The Ridge Social Drinkery in Dvenport. The event takes place on Saturday, March 16. Doors open at 8 a.m. and the festivities will run all night long. There will be on-stage performances from Soul Storm and Funktastic 5 will perform. There will also be food trucks, a patio bar and much more!

CASI's St. Patrick's Day Race

Join CASI as they celebrate their 42nd Annual St. Patrick's Day Race in Downtown Davenport on Saturday, March 16. The 5K race is the first official Spring race of the running season. 100% of the proceeds raised by the event will be reinvested into helping older adults to age well. The event will start at 9:00 a.m. There will be a 5K, 1-mile fun run, and a tot trot.

Soul Storm at Rolling Meadows Event Center

Popular Quad Cities band Soul Storm is kicking off the St. Patrick's Day weekend on Friday, March 15, with a concert. There will be great music, drinks and better at Rolling Meadows Event Center in Eldridge. The event takes place from 6:30-10:30 p.m.

O'Keefe's Irish Pub Party

O'Keefe Irish Pub is inviting people all over the Quad Cities to join them on their St. Patrick's celebration on Saturday, March, 16 beginning at 11:00 a.m. as B and D will be playing at the Gazebo from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. They will also be having a DJ starting at 9 p.m. 

Gypsy Highway St. Patrick's Day Party

A lucky day! Starting at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 16, the Gypsy Highway will host a St. Patrick's Day Party with green beer, good luck toast, corned beef & cabbage, and live music with two local bands performing, Danger Zone and Smooth Groove. Attendees are encouraged to wear green for the all day long party! There will be a $5 cover for everyone.
