DAVENPORT, Iowa — Residents at Senior Star at Elmore Place in Davenport had a splash-tastic time during the annual Slip & Slide Summer Bash!
On Tuesday, July 30, the retirement community had a morning full of delightful splashes and cheerful laughs as residents slid down a hill in a huge inflatable chair. Staff used gate belts to safely guide the residents down the hill.
"I don't get the opportunity to do this very often," resident Pam Mayer said. "It's something different. Do it again!"
The event was meant to showcase how senior living can be full of life and laughter.
